I walk or ride my bicycle at least 6 days a week for about an hour. This has helped me more than anything to cope with the pain.

This sounds silly but it worked to combat this and my depression. Instead of lying in bed all day feeling bad I would get up early and go for a walk. The cold morning air helped to wake me up and clear my head.
