helps w/ mood, not for pain

side effects for me are night sweats, jaw clenching, brain zaps if i'm late for a dose, and bad dreams, but it works better than anything else i've tried

It used to work. I have been on it for like 3 years. Im even up to 300mg in the morn then 150mg in the evening it doesnt seem to help my depression anymore..

I didn't think it was until I tried to stop it, and things definitely got worse, have started it again. No side effects

It is helping me level out and not stress out or have massive anxiety of small stuff. It is also helping bring me out of my depression.

This started helping me pull out of the deep depression. For the 1st time in a long time I started seeing the sunlight again.

Seemed to work well for 15 years, starting to think I should not have went off of it.

I have been on effexor for depression for some time and am not sure what contribution it makes toward the narcolepsy. Right now the dosage is being reduced because my depression is so much better.

It seems to work well for me but i have built up a high tolerence for drugs over the years i dont abuse my prescriptions but i refuse to take the heavy duty ones..vicodin was given to me and it doesnt help and I dont want to get to the point where i think maybe I just need two at a time instead and it will take care of the pain....I try to control my pain with my meditation and breathing and I seem to be able to handle the worst of it that way...
