Hi to all, im just wondering if anyone might know whether there might be any side effects to the baby whose mother who smoke before their Pregancy?
for example a women who is a heavy smoker for 10 year who got pregancy. even though she stop smoking while she is in her pregancy, will her baby still get affect by the cigarettes?

As long as you don't smoke WHILE you're pregnant there would not be any effects on the fetus.

no, there shouldnt be a problem..as long as you dont smoke WHILE you are pregnant. i smoked a few with my daughter before i knew i was pregnant, and quit when the test came up positive...she is perfectly healthy, thank God. and my son, i quit smoking with him a month before i got pregnant. just make sure you (sorry if its not you) dont start smoking after the baby is born. i WISH i could take back every time i exposed my child to the smell.

I smoked during preganancy and now have to live with the guilt for the rest of my life. By the grace of God, all 3 of my children are healthy and were not premature.
