I was on Neupogen for most of the 9 months I was on treatment last year. Other than having to take the additional shots I did not have any side effects at all other than those I was already having due to the interferon and ribavirin, which were pretty bad. Anyway, good news is if your experience is anything like mine the neupogen won't make things worse. Hang in there!
Your low WBCs are making you feel so badly...sounds like anemia. My dr lowered my riba from 800 mg to 600 mg so I didn't have to do the neupogen. Once the anemia problem is addressed you will feel much better. just saw my endocrinologist and am also severely Vit D deficient. He said that will also contribute to the fatigue. Am on prescription strength D and he tell me to take my calcium on an empty stomach....
Hang in there kiddo. The kinks just have to get worked out.
