I started Dexedrine after being diagnosed with Narcolepsy. I take Dexedrine around 12:00, when the Provigil wears off, and again in the early evening. Sometimes I don't need both doses. It works well, but I don't really have an appetite, so I've lost weight. I realy have to make sure I eat healthy meals. (If you don't eat healthy, you'll be tired no matter what!) I also feel jittery and scatterbrained for a short time about 30 min after I take it.

I cannot find a doctor to prescribe this to me. But I did take it for one week and it worked wonderfully. I got up on time worked throughout the day did not procrastinate. I went home from work feeling good. I was interested in things and people. And I was able to sleep just fine at night.

IN 1976 WHEN I WAS FIRST DIAGNOSED MY DR PRESCRIBED DEXEDRENE IT WORKED WELL FOR ME MY DR NEVER FELT IT I NEEDED TO TRY THE NEWER TREATMENTS. IN 1997 WHEN I WAS CONFIRMED BY A SLEEP CENTER THEY CONCERED WITH MY DR ON HIS TREATMENT.

I think good things about this drug. I am presently on it after many years of being too terrified to be on anything courtesy of the experts and their riddlin pushing bullox. Not all experts are idiots. But the vast majority of them need to be jailed. Dehumanizing people should be a crime. I am not a lab rat. This medicine is the only medicine i have ever willingly put in my body to treat my alleged learning issues, but i consider it more as treatment for simply being a bit low energy. I
