Cetirizine hydrochloride is a medication used for the treatment of allergies, hay fever, angioedema, and hives. It is a second-generation H1-receptor antagonist antihistamine and works by blocking H1 histamine receptors. It is a major metabolite of hydroxyzine, and has the same basic side effects, including dry mouth. more at Wikipedia

Made me feel too tired.

Am having 2nd episode of severe hives after 17 years free. Antihistamines even twice the average daily dose isnt keeping them at bay anymore. Im trying acupuncture and chiropractor to strengthen my nervous and immune system at the moment. I live in Australia and am so glad to have found this support group.
