Relieves lower back pain immediately. Causes some drowsiness.

Works pretty great but I tend to develop a faster tolerance to it and need to switch meds back and forth often. In the UK they give me the 12 hour long acting Ultram (called Tramadol in the UK) which often leaves me stuck when I have breakthrough pain with nothing I can do for hours until the next dose is allowed.

When it comes to a neurological pain, Ultram cannot be beat. Whatever pain is left, does not involve the nerves. That works for me.

This was the only pain medication I've found that does'nt cause an increase in my migrains. I have taken Loratab,Vicadin. They caused migrains so bad I had to be taken off them. So far I have'nt had any side effects from these.

Ultram/Tramadol does not have Tylenol in it - the tylenol mix is called Ultracet - which is Tramadol and Tylenol. [More] -
