right now its still a trial period but from what i can see it helps me sleep well.the only thing is i get this numbing feeling in my feet and hands

for depression and trouble sleeping. This does seem to help, though the full dose is something I can't tolerate. I cut down the dosage to what works for me...allows me to sleep but doesn't turn me into an apathetic zombie.

Was on this for years. Worked fine. My doctor didnt run a blood level for 2 years and I started having severe depression. He switched me to Paxil and did a blood level where he found I was severely over medicated with the Imipramine. Lowered my dose and kept me on Paxil. Then my GP took me off imipramine altogether. No side effects at all.

I haven't tried it, I have only been on citalopram, effexor and prozac. I am in the same boat as you. If it works for you please let me know. [More] -
