I'm not sure if this helped at all. Mom took it for only a short time and between the cost and the way it made her look (bad acne) and the dr. telling her that it only MAY extend her life for a week or two, she decided to stop taking it.

Mom is taking this orally. She was taken off it a month ago because she developed a rash - but now they think the gemcitabine was the cause. She'll start it again soon.
