Side effects.....you lose your Thyroid all-together and become Hypo. Have to take Thyroid Replacement Meds for the rest of your life. Wach out for your eyes!!! makes eyes worse!

WORKED SECOND TIME AROUND, NOT MUCH SIDE EFFECTS, BUT STILL FEEL LOW

7 1/2 weeks post RAI and I am at 10.44 TSH (from undetectable)and now HYPO

The treatment worked but if you do not know exactly what your weight is when you were 18 they will give you too much medication which will change from hyper to hypo.

2 months after treatment my levels were normal. 1 week after that I dropped to a very low hypo very fast.

got rid of the Grave's but left me with hypothyroid.

Made me so ill..I felt throbbing like a nuclear power plant, tho they said it wouldnt..and scared..all I cared about was keeping ppl away so that I didnt give them cancer in the future, with no thought at the time for the risks imposed on myself..It also left me smell intolerant..and tho it worked and first time too (Thank God!) I can no longer tolerate certain smells and so wretch a lot., they say it's not linked..but this only happened when my sensitivity increased after treatment

Damed near killed me, stomach screwed up, appetite gone, weight loss profound.

It did work.The only side effect I had was a little swelling in my neck after day 3.It went down just as fast as it showed up.

Dont remember any bad side effects, just slept alot while was radioactive. Within 3 months my whole thyroid was gone - it's been checked a few times

killed my thyroid, lost some hair gained some weight and have to take a pill everyday so I dont die. But I guess it worked
