They live throughout our home.
A visual schedule combined with short breaks between tasks can be effective when trying to get through something like homework. Visual schedules are essential for Connor in maintaining certain routines (like getting ready for school in the morning).

We have a folder with pictures which she loves to look at. It helps her communicate.

having a daily schedule really works for my son but if one day is different then it throws everything off for him
This is a must!! Visual just clicks for them. I had pictures all over the house and would point to them and call out what it was. It took my son 3 years to understand door/outside but once it clicked it stayed

Used in elementary grades until the 5th. Helped keep him on schedule, in a routine and to check his routine, while providing a visual cue that he could understand. Faded out in 5th.
