Worked great years ago for OCD and GAD. Went off of it due to side effects. Withdrawal was horrible and caused a major depressive episode. Went back on it recently and worked for anxiety but not depression. Stopped it and switched to Zoloft.

I was prescribed paxil for depression. It worked wonderful for the depression. The veil was deffinately lifted, but I didn't "feel" anything. I couldn't even cry under circumstances that people would normally cry. When I weened my self off, I had horrible side effects and eventually ended up in "lock down" for a week.
