I was referred to an excellent outpatient program.

Worked well for me.

I only go twice a month, but the sessions keep me on track.

Sometimes helpful, however the clinic was 2 hours from home and I had to travel there everyday or week.

Still go, biweekley works great!

It was a follow-up to residential treatment, and it helped me to transition back into daily life.

The first time i recovered.. the 2nd and 3rd time i found my way around it. im still not recovered.

This was my last attempt at getting sober. I went to this in March 2007 to save my marriage and family.

Group therapy helped.

I guess my stint in the hospital for various reasons helped some, but it was the other patients that helped most, the so-called 'doctors' did nothing.

I have been in several outpatient programs. Some have helped and some have not. I think that the talking is a big thing for me. Just talking about things with people who understand and have been there, really helps. I just started an outpatient program today and it looks like it will be really helpful

I see a counselor every 2 weeks. CBT mostly. It's been the best thing i've tried for the depression but so far no effect on the eating.

it is working but they still want me to have aa meeting and a print out showing i am in them
