Insulin pump user for 4 years and it's great!

Fast acting insulin. I use this for more than it was intended. In morning to lower my blood sugar as mine rises during night. I use it before meals, then after meals.

Was on 60 units 3x a day now on 15 x 3.

I take a dose of this before each meal. About 10 minutes before the meal. 15-10-18 units in that order before Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Test myself 4 times daily.

Using novolog in pump-works well when basal and all rates are adjusted. But, like all diabetics realize everyday is different. Mustalways check glucose.

I use a Paradigm insulin pump, and in conjunction with the Paradigm Link blood glucose monitor, have managed to start working toward getting my HA1C down in the normal range.
