Working / Worked
I take midodrine for another condition (low blood pressure) and did not know that it was used to treat vertigo.
Working / Worked
Works great since it got my blood pressure up high enough to function.
Working / Worked
Its a pill I take twice a day that raises my blood pressure. It has pretty much controlled the fainting episodes (not completely but large amount. The problem is that I still get near-fainting episodes where I feel the symptoms of fainting (loss of vision, extreme dizziness and nausoussness, weakness, and pain all over), but I do not lose consciousness.
This one raises my blood pressure. I needed the Toprol to slow my heart rate, but it also lowered my Blood Pressure as a side effect so I had to go on Midodrine to raise my blood pressure. So, I only need this because of the side effects of Toprol. *sigh* Oh Well! At least I don't have blackouts and faint anymore from low BP :)
Working / Worked
Still have occassional spells, but not nearly as bad or often. No side effects.
Somewhat Helpful
Helps a little with my dizziness.
Too Soon To Tell
Dizzy spells just started
Not Working
The side effects were unbearable. Tingly scalp and pounding heart.
Not Working

She is very fatigued, tired, and quit these meds. Went back to Prozac, and I'm confused.
