Once per month I take advantage of the fact that a massage therapist comes to my workplace to do 15 minute chair massages and when I can afford to I go every three or four months for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. Massage can be an emotionally cathartic experience and also helps to remove toxins from your system and treat stress.

If the massage therapist has the right training it helps a lot. Ive had excellent results and bad results. The cost is the problem.

I love getting a massage, because of the NF and the Fibro it is better than medication and I have noticed with my Bi Polar that after I have one I am calmer and not as hyper.
