Was on Lovenox shots for the first week or two since the diagnosis of DVT. I have not had to be on Lovenox since then but am still on Warfarin therapy.

I only got one shot of Lovenox and I am glad for that! That thing stung terribly and I had an awful bruise that didn't go away for months!

I'm now taking warfarin. It's working. My INR is usually in the high 2's

He was started on injections for a couple of weeks before they weaned him onto the coumadin. There was some bruising around the injection site but other than that it seemed to help.
