I was on it for 10 days. You get used to injecting yourself. Definitely do not drink to excess, this made me lightheaded. Have someone in the house the first few times you do the injections, they don't have to watch... it just makes you feel better not to be alone the first couple of times.

Hurts like heck. Use icepacks after to reduce bruising and pain.

I took 2 Lovenox injections a day for a couple months, maybe. I can't recall exactly.I took one shot in the abdomen at 9AM & then another at 9PM. I would start feeling anxious/emotional the closer it came time to give he injection. The first wk or so, I was fine.I knew that Lovenox was going straigh to work on immediate dissolve.Later,when the shots started getting more painful I started getting anxious abt the injections.They worked. Some stomac issues, dizziness, headaches. eventually stopped.

Being used as a bridge to Coumadin.

Was given this by injection in the rehab center I was sent to after being discharged from the hospital. No one on staff gave me any feedback about whether or not it was working but the injections gave me hugh welts that lasted weeks. And once I received the injection in my left upper arm; the swelling was "cantaloupe size" according to the IV nurse.

Lovenox worked well and I feel more comfortable using it but my insurance will not pay for it. It is so costly I have to use Coumadin.

Used Lovenox once for 10 days before my hysterectomy and it worked fine.

Took Lovenox only before hysterectomy.
