Lofepramine (trademarked Gamanil) is a third generation tricyclic antidepressant used in the treatment of depressive disorders. It has both antidepressant and anxiolytic properties. Lofepramine is metabolized in vivo into desipramine; hence its pharmacological profile is extremely similar.

I take 3mls of this each day in conjunction with the Sertraline on advice from the pain clinic and it seems to improve the overall effect!

Been on these 2 weeks and suffered major physical side effects. Feel slightly better emotionally.Ended up in hospital on 6/8/07.Dr says I came off Citalopram too quick.

been on these roughly about 5-6 weeks. hate taking any type of tablets but antidepressants make me feel a bit out of it

I've been on it for 4 weeks so it hasn't really kicked in yet but i don't think they're the right meds for me.

A prescription med not above - was on it for 6-7 weeks and it was crap. Was even taking 2 pills (140mg) towards the end
