I take this insulin during the day on a sliding scale. I use my Blood Glucose Monitor to test my blood and if it's less than 150 I don't need it, if it is I do need it.

Was on this until I went on my insulin pump. I had blood sugars that would go from being 600 one time and then 40 the next. I am a very brittle diabetic

Was very difficult to get balanced but after the doctor gave me a dosing chart I managed to work it out. Now my units are smaller because of new herbal treatment -swings high low easily

Probably not a bad treatment for very regimented people. When I tried it I was still in grade and middle school, not the best time for regimented schedules.
