I didn't like giving myself the injections. I also felt like the injection was rushing thru my body. Then, I had to go to bed for 30-45 mins.

The pills worked for awhile, then I had to take the stat dose. After awhile, that stopped working, so had to change drugs.

Usually helps the migraines unless they are too far gone.

Sumatriptan is great for treating the migraine once i have it.

Imitrex did not work for me when it first came out. The shot in my thight has helped in a dire situation.

I am currently taking 50gm and it works. It hits about 40 min's after taking it. Sometimes it makes me feel druged out at times.

Really is a miracle drug, to me! Injection form gave me intolerable feelings of dizziness and heaviness. Nasal and pill forms are working fine now.

if taken early enough the nasal spray usually helps, if not then I must resort to the injectible form which has the undesirable effects of heart racing, etc.

But I got terrible reactions from the medication- dizziness, and nausea. so instead of headaches I was throwing up.

Worked in the beginning they have given me the sprays for when my daily medication doesn't work. These nasal sprays work quite quickly but have a very bad taste afterwards when you swallow.
