I don't know the severity of my GBS. It has been over a year since I have the treatment and its hard for me to say if it has worked or not.

I have been told that I can no longer put off IVIG even though I have done everything to try to. I dont want to be dependent on something so expensive and difficult for the rest of my life. However I have had 10 sinus infections severe bronchitis and several ear infections just since January. Now my infections are getting resistant to antibotics. Do I have any other options? How bad are the treatments?

Doctors believe this could help me after five late term pregnancy losses- there might be an autoimmune problem that could be helped by IVIG. I am against it as there is no proof it works and it can be risky!

After the 2nd day of receiving IVIG, I came down with a massive migraine. It was incompacitating and I was immediately taken to the hospital.

He stayed off a respirator so maybe it did work, but he is completely paralyzed and they started the IVIG almost immediately after symptoms began.
