IVIG very early after diagnosis, and since CIDP.Balance Master to help me regain balance after initial GBS.
the treatment works very well and I feel its the only thing that keeps body and soul together. I have very poor veins but the nurses at the hospital clinic are very good at starting the IV. I sometime feel tired after the treatment but other than that I have no side effects. The infusion takes about two hours. I should tell you Im seventy six years old and handle the treatments very well.Good luck and Blessings. janeinva

It helps me short term, but the side effects are hard. I get a rash on my hands and fingers and it takes forever to go away.

Well, I actually had this, and another pill I was taking, so I'm not sure if this or the pill had helped.
We have tried two rounds of IVIG on my mom and it seems to work but we would like to try a third time.
It just stopped the progression of the GBS but I was still extremely weak

I have some improvement in my vision, which for me was the worst part. When I get tired or stressed I notice it in my vision. It's scary. My energy level improves some, but I still tire easily. I am hoping to get enough of a boost to have more good days.
First infusion I felt wonderful. Then seemed to get tired again. After 4 months started having flare-up in the lungs. then 4 months later in hospital with pneumonia in both lungs.
