At the time I used it effectively, I was able to get it by prescription. Now that it's OTC, I can't afford to use it in the doses that were effective before. When I began the g-therapy before, I had been crawling from the sofa to the bathroom, unable to make it to bed. Within a couple of weeks, I was able to exercise my arms and legs while lying down...and eventually began to walk. First 1/2 a block, then more, until I could function almost normally.

for cold/cough taken on rare occasions

have been taking it for about 2.5 years and is seems to work for me. helps with the chronic congestion of Asthma too.

I've been on Guai for about six months now. Can't tell if it is helping yet.

This used to work. I have sinus issues & this used to help. I can no longer take it because of serious adverse reactions: muscle tightening, shakes, chills, nausea, panic attacks...

Take 4 a day A MUST!!!

This is combines in a syrup with hydrocodone and works great for cough, sinusitis and pain.

Not taking anymore. May have helped. Have more pain. Don't know if because not taking guifenesin now.

I use Mucinex when nothing else works. I have good results with it.

I take 600 mg/day for the past 5 yrs. Pain level dropped 80% after 4-6 weeks. Only side effect is dry mouth. (and NO more sinus infections!) Hang in there if you try this one. The pain increases before it decreases because it is helping to release and eliminate excess phosphate. Drink lots of water.

This seemed to work for a while, but with time, I felt I was taking more than was healthy to take. I cut my dose way back and currently take on ocassion for sinus.

This one helps me sleep,when I have a script for it.

I take it at bedtime ,have not had any problems nor seen any improvements
