I have told my ex-husband I forgive him and am proud of the changes he has made in his life. We have a good family relationship between him, his wife, and our kids. I'm am working on this with my ex-boyfriend of 13 years. My huband is best friens with him. This is a hard situation to deal with. My ex b/fr has a girlfriend that I like and that helps. But he is still a jerk in many ways. My husband and he are both sexists and immature in a lot of ways.

My husband forgave me me just a couple days after asking me to leave, even though upon leaving, I went to stay with "the other man". He said no matter what, he loved me and didn't want to live without me and that I belonged with him and the kids. So after 5 days, I went back home where he greeted me with open arms.

Took me a ver long time but I have accepted the fact that it is what it is and that I am only holding myself back from happiness by being angry all the time. So I am friends with my ex and have had dinner with him and his new wife...although it is hard it actually has helped me heal.
