My Dr. started me out with Vivelle Dot .1. However after one week I had extreme periods of depression and had to remove the patch. I am now using a lower dosage of estrogone + Prozac with OK results. Hot flashes were eliminated day one with the Estrogen patch.

I spotted a connection between fibromyalgia and estrogen. I'm 59, post menopausal. No pain after 4 days on estradiol .05.The cause is hormonal - I'm sure of it!

Patch didnt stay on very well and burned my skin literally. I would have a red round blister for 2 months where I had placed my patch. Ouch!!

Helps alot. I cant take oral hormones because I have lupus. This little patch helps and it doesnt burn my skin like the climara patch.
