They do work, but I hate the side effects. They aren't serious, but asthmatics know what I'm talking about.

I think corticosteroids were more of a placebo effect. They jump started the hair re-growth, but eventually the hair grew back in about 6 months on its own anyway. Besides, after only having a few treatments of this method, I realized that it was not worth the money, nor my health, because the steroids itself are not good for you.
