I go to meetings twice a week and I am apart of a support group. I feel that is helping me in so many ways and helping me to stand up for myself and to love me.

I have just started attending a local CoDA group. I can't say that I'm feeling better, but what the others are sharing at the group is hitting the nail on the head, in terms of defining the issues I have been struggling with all my life. I suspect that in time if I stay consitent in attending and work the program I will begin to see results.

Know how emotional abuse has brought me down; severe back problems = broken spirit. CoDa very helpful; only stopped after back surgery - couldn't sit for 2 yrs. Goal - to get outside/walk every day, to get a little dog. Anti-depressants don't work for me.
