Chantix has worked wonderfully for me. I am lucky in that the only side effect I have had is not smoking.

it is working great along with my strong will power which I think is very important. the side effects for me is the very intense dreams.so, I only take one pill a day instead of two and it is working well.

I have not smoked in over 2 weeks. It is very hard. I am 60 yrs,old and have smoked for 45 years. I drink alot of water and chew alot of gum.

I started taking chantix on Dec. 28th, within a few days my cigaretts were not tasting very good or satisfying me the way the use to. I started walking at work when I would usually smoke, and on Jan.11th I quit.

did work the first time I tried it, no problems with side effects, but I continued to smoke off and on and so by the time my prescription ended i was smoking again. Now I am trying to get my insurance to pay for a prescription and so far am having to jump through all sorts of hoops just to get a pre-approval, but will soon start on it again and this time no cheating.

First night I had WILD dreams. My sleep patterns have been altered some, but well worth it and the money spent. After the first few days, cigarettes were NASTY, and I was able to get down to just a few right before I quit. It is still helping with the cravings

Just started it but am using the gum too, I know!!! but I need all the help I can get. Insomnia is the only side effect I've had with the chantix

I quit for like three months effectively. gained weight. and picked the habit right back up :(

I'm on day 5 of taking Chantix. After the fourth day I started vomiting. It lasted a day. I skipped a day and started where I left off the following day and have been fine.

Love this drug!!! I took it for the first time in June but I was constantly nauseated. We bought a house 4 days after my quit date and I just gave up. I took it again in Oct, this time I took it with food each time and I didn't get sick at all. Weird dreams were the biggest side effect, but some nights those were kind of fun. My taste and smell came back with a vengence!!! I think the best part of the Chantix was that it took my mind off of smoking. I just didn't think about smoking.
