Amazingly immediate gratification

This really helped when she was younger. It took care of a lot of sensory issues.
Not sure if I do this the 'proper' way, but I have a body brush that I have used for years, and I like it. I do self-massage too.
We did this when she was first dx. Every 2 hours. I did see a difference. She was calmer and less aggressive. She now hates the brushing, however, so we have moved on to other things.

That wasn't easy. Every 2 hours and at the time he was severly sensitive to touch. I didn't see a big improvement although I was desprate to get his constipation under controll and was trying multipule techniques at once.
The brushing does well if we do it at night and first thing in the morning. It seems to keep him collected and to calm down
my brother enjoyed this but i don't know of any specific benifits
She loves me when I use rag to rub against her skin on arms, legs, and back.
I hate it, but it helped

When Kalista was little she couldn't stand clothes. This made it very easy to do the brushing. I feel that it helped so much. now we don't have to do it as much but it is sill just the thing to help her calm down.
He enjoys it but we havent seem much change yet

The twins fight this and it is very hard to do for very long.
I do this for her, simply because I have the same issuse with touch. It works well. :)
The brushing therapy has helped desensatize my son on his arms, back, and legs. However, it doesn't seem to be helping with his feet.
