My first bracing did not work in that my curved progressed twenty degrees. The second bracing, after my castings, held my back in place quite well. In fact, it helped my pain by keeping my spine "in place."

It definitely worked. My doctor wanted to do a study on my cousins and I because the three of us are girls, all the same age with scoliosis diagnosed within a few months of each other.
