helps with water retention

It takes a long time to really start working and it doesn't get rid of hair but it helps slow growth and prevent new. I was on Spironolactone a few years ago and didn't think it helped much so I got off of it and then I realized how much it was helping! I'm back on it now and it's really helping slow the hair growth.

It has helped with the acne great. I have not noticed it working to well with the facial hair issue. Not likeing going to the bathroom all the time.

this has helped a lot with the oiliness of my skin and hair.

I had to start low and work my way up- kidney pain. I think this drug has helped with my mood swings and I think it might make me sleepy- I am now trying it in the evenings. We are doing this to see if we can get my hair to grow back :)

This worked wonders for me, I am surprised that other people aren't prescribed this. I am on Yaz right now and it is only half as helpful as the spironolactone. Too bad I can't take them in combination but I have to have the yaz for endo. I am sad that I had to come off the spironolactone, nothing else I have ever tried has come close to helping as much.

I used this before i was officially diagnosed with PCOS, and it did keep facial hair to a minimum. Just recently re-started it.
