It is hard to sit there and tell all which went on in my marriage. How I was wrong to keep on living with a man who abused my child and I but I did do it. It worked, but not as much as helping myself.
In the process. This seems to be empowering me with a sense of the order of it all, how I allowed it to happen, why I put up with it so very long, and my co dependency issues.

Need to keep my own side of the street clean and not "fix" people, places, or things. The Serenity Prayer keeps me on track.

Godly counsel has been a key saving grace. Trauma and associated fears are kept at an emotional level. Having a counselor walk me through those scary emotions keeps me feeling safe and empowers me to maintain a productive, happy life outside of the counselor's office.

went for 1 week with husband at the time, kept saying that it was my fault for him hitting me. so I started going by my-self-stayed with it for three years.
