A new me! Wasn't expecting it, but I'm okay with it. Just when I decided I like my old name, the DS people give me a new one. And wouldn't you know, I found the perfect avatar to go with it. So I guess it was just meant to be. I'm putting a green face on today to celebrate!
Actually, today really has been a green face day as I spent it with my adorable grandbaby, Moira. She's become quite possessive of me, clinging to me and saying "My Grammy!" as if someone was going to steal me away from her. It's quite a boost to the ego, which I need occasionally! It was a record-setting 70 degrees here today, so we met one of my friends and her granddaughter at the park. Then went to Chuck E. Cheeses, then home to both crash for two hours. Perfect.
Hubby went to play his second round of basketball tonight and teenager is sleeping (he's getting used to being back at school from Christmas break--not used to getting up at 6 am) so I get to use the new computer. Yea!! The screen and keyboard on this one is SO much nicer than the one I use in the basement.
Oh, and I got to see that "chick flick" as a payback for that horrible sci-fi movie my husband took me to last week. We went to see "The Atonement" yesterday. It was wonderful. Tear-jerking, but a superb film. The kind that keeps you thinking days after you see it. Not really a chick flick at all. I believe it's nominated for Best Picture by several of the movie associations.
That's about it for now. Hope everyone had a decent Monday. Bet it wasn't as good as mine though! LOL!!

So happy you get to spend time with Moira. I wish Jill hadn't moved to PA and taken the grandkids. Bobby is thinking of going to see them on Saturday. I'm not up to a three hour drive and tons of noise and no rest, so I won't accompany him this time. But, maybe next time. Just knowing that they are far away is so sad! Poor Nana! ARggghhhhhh!

Glad to see you on here. Hope you are doing well and not too tired. I'll be seeing a Rheumatologist on the 22cond to try and get some relief from all this ridiculous pain in my shoulders and neck. It's keeping me up all the time. This is something new. I'm wondering if fibro is trying to sneak in the backdoor here! We'll wait and see.
