Friday, May 16, 2008 | A Positive story

I woke up yesterday morning and thought I detected a slight change. When I got up this morning, at 3 am, I could definitely feel a difference. I think my new med is finally kicking in. My mind is more clear and I'm not totally exhausted. I hope the worst is over.

I want to thank everybody who was concerned about me. I didn't respond very much and I'm sorry about that. Even the smallest task took everything out of me. I'm sure you all understand. That's what is so great about this place. I don't have to make excuses or try to explain the unexplainable.

So, I'm feeling stronger this morning. I'm gonna post one of my old poems. It seems to fit. I love you all...Patty xx

BATTLE CRY

I will walk barefoot through the grass.

I will beckon the sun and drink in her light.

I will seek out the angels and we will dance on the stars.

I will know the moon and she will caress me with her silver.

I will go to the sea and look into forever.

I will climb the mountains and sing to the world.

I will strengthen my love and shelter my children with it.

I will stand straight and walk tall.

I will rebuke all fear.

I will defeat my demons.

I will seek joy.

I will let my spirit soar.

I will trust and be trusted.

I will love and be loved.
