it was crazy here yesterday, not to mention a little unsettling. Here's the scene...
Gas prices in our area (central Virginia) went up (in 1 day anywhere from 30 to 60 cents).
We were paying $3.49/gallon
news quickly spread and gas stations all over the area ran out of gas. At one point, one area gas station was selling gas for $7.00 a gallon.
we were able to fill up for $3.59 thanks to 10 cents off from Kroger, but we had to wait in a long line to get it.
It really was an unsettling experience that reminded me of the gas rationing from the 70's.
