I can be having the absolute worst day and when I see Lisa, I am reminded of how great my life is, how things could be so much worse (like not having her in my life), and a smile a mile long will appear and make me forget what it was that made me feel bad in the first place. I know very few people who posess this gift.
#4 Speaking of gifts, I try not to let a day go by, where I don't sing praises about my lovely wife Lisa. Friday we were attending a diabetic seminar and I was sharing my story and I mentioned that if it hadn't been for the care and concern of Lisa, my diabetes problem would be 10x worse. I of course then threw in it was our anniversary on Monday and received hoots, hollers and applause. :)
