  So sorry for your loss. My mother passed away 8 months ago and she was my absolute world. Like you, I feel as though a piece of myself is gone and that I'll never be the same. I'm sure my father feels the same way as you do. They were happily married for 48 years. I hope we can help each other through this difficult journey. -Karen

  Im sorry to hear about the loss of your husbanb.I do know you must miss your husbanb very bad after being together after 41yrs.I have been with mine now for34yrs.We justfound out in august that he to has cancer on the inside of his cheek.His dr. wanted to do surgery &a skin graft &he wont have it done.So that has me upset.I to willkeep you in my prayers.Sincerly wheeler4

  I am sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my mother in April of 2006 and our favorite thing to do was to go shopping. I stopped going to Hobby Lobby (her favorite place) and I swear the first time (after a year) I went in there, I was walking by the Christmas decorations and I heard her say, "Slow down I am looking here" You may not feel like fishing now, but your husband might. You should go fishing and see what happens.
