  I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband almost 5 months ago too. I know how you feel because I feel the same way. I also am dealing with a loss of income. I was only working 20 hrs a week, now 32. I had to get a roomate. All these changes are hard to deal with, but we can only take one day at a time. I cry when I think of him too, but I also remember the fun we had. It's very hard for me since he was only 43 and I wasn't prepared for it. Also, I found his body in the basement and I can't get the image out of my head. Your not alone, you have a friend in me. Write me anytime! God Bless, ~Michele

  Dear Mrsroseh, your story is so sad, I can feel your grief thru your words. I sincerely hope you are able to find that elusive "something" to grab onto that will bring you some peace. Your husband is waiting for you to join him when your time comes. He will welcome you with wide open arms, and best of all he, and you, will be healthy and whole. On the other side they don't recognize time, here 50, 80, or even 100 years is just a wink in forever. peace.

  You have come to the right place. I lost my husband 6 mos ago, I am still in shock, disbelief, and I miss him very very much. This web site, the people are awesome!!!!!! They are going through the same or worse and always find the time and words to help you.....welcome and please do not hesitate to write if you need to vent, scream,cry, it doesn't matter, I will be here for you.   Thanks for the hugs. It has been 3 months now since cancer took my beloved away. Oct 5th was his birthday, I just cried that he wasnt here to celebrate it. I always made a big deal out of those special dates.

  I am so sorry that you are going through a bad time, but it is still very early to expect more. I hope that, as time passes, things will become even a little bit easier for you. I pray for you, and all my friends on DS, each night, and I am a great believer in the power of prayer. You cannot expect to move on from such a loss, but you can hope that as you gradually move through it, good memories will begin to outweight your sadness. You will meet again, all you have to do is be patient. I find that hard also, but i know that there is no other choice. Lots and Lots of love from Anne xxx

  I live now in Baker, LA which is just north of Baton Rouge... but I lived for over 20 years in Houma... so it was good to see someone from home although I'm sorry for the loss that brings you here... still it can be a good place to be... Lots of support. Hugs Cara's Mom Elissa
