you are right... so many are reluctant to share their specifics... we all know no two pd-ers are alike and no neurologist can provide enough details... things here have settled... i am not watching my husband like a hawk and i think he quietly see and respects that.... his right hand up to his shoulder tremors have become fatiquing. He is now swimming and soon we are tying acupuncture via a friend who's done her research.. am anxious to try anything that keeps us managing this disease and keeping symptoms at bay. randy retires on november 9th and already has a trip scheduled with my brothers to costa rica... man trip they call it.... fine by me... it's a nice big distraction and a show of faith that he is still the same guy and can try to tackle anything he cares to. we will stay tuned... and thanks again for the contact... i prefer to lay low and watch developments but frankly, i need to stay away from the unhappy dwellers... i need positive hope and successes.. one day at a time. stay warm this weekend... it isn't snowing here yet in wisconsin but anything is possible once summer is over. patti
thanks again for sharing... this site has provided many supportive and positive points... but you went a step further and added your personal history as well.... that means a lot to me.... we all learn as we grow with this disease.
i feel huggy today! hope it find you and makes you smile. judy
Keep smiling, i too was diagnosed about 5 weeks ago ... I know how you would be feeling, but remember we might have pd!!! Im not going to let PD have me tho!!!
Hello, I'm not too familiar with this forum, yet, but I do appreciate a {{hug}} now and then. Yes, my name of craftycat for craftycathy does mean that I love doing craft projects. My worse problem is the creativity is there, but I just can't seem to find the ambition or energy to do much, anymore. I guess that's called apathy. I'm not sure how to get out of that, but I'm working on it. Thanks for being here and your welcome.
Diagnosed Aug 2007 after 1 year of different doctors. I think I've had it for about 7 years. Recently saw an MDS. Really like him, certainly not the typical "take this pill and see ya in 6 months"
