Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 13 years ago after my first son was born.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- Was on Pentasa for 12 years, seemed to work for a long time but within the last year or two my symptoms have worsened and my Crohn's Disease has spread to another area of my intestines.
- Azulfidine Working / Worked
- I was on this for a short time right after I was diagnosed but it did not really help much.
- Flagyl Working / Worked
- every time i get a flareup they put on this and cipro. It works while I'm on it, but symptoms slowly return once I am finished with the prescription.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- it made me feel great, but not allowed to stay on it for too long.
- Purinethol Working / Worked
- on it now for a month, not yet seeing any benefits.
