Hi Vicky, How are things going for you, I had my first experience of my band telling me that I was doing something wrong on Sunday- I ate to quickly and boy I won't do that again! Other than that things have been going well- I got my first fill last Thursday and went to my first in person support group and that was actually pretty interesting especially since my doctor was who was running it. But it was nice to talk to different people at different stages of their lap-band. Well I just wanted to say hi and let you know you were in my thoughts- I hope things are going well for you. I have been trying to have a child for about 5 years. I have tried several treatments, the latest IVF. My body is not responding to the medication. I have been told this is the last treatment plan for me, but I can not beleive my doctor. I have been pregnant 3 times, but have lost the pregnancy. This can't be it for me!
I have been overweight my whole life. Most recently I have had 4 pregnacy losses. I decided it was time to get healthy and lose weight if I ever want to have a successful pregnancy. I had Lap Band surgery on 5/5/08. Here is to a whole new, happy life!
