I have been in such an upset and at this point I am so numb. Grammie's funeral was on Monday. I called my Aunt on Wednesday to see how it went. She said it was a beautiful funeral despite the fact the rings that were willed to me that were Grammie's were stolen off her when she laid on her death bed. Yes, you heard me. My mother and her sister went into my grandmothers room when she was laying on her death bed in hospice. Please note my mother never saw my grandmother for years and the only one other time she did was when she thought she was dying. Alas they took her rings off her fingers while she was near death and stole them. My poor Aunt found this out when she approached my grandmothers casket and saw she wasnt wearing her beloved rings. She was to be showed in them and then they were to be given to me. All hell has broken lose complete with a police investigation and if there is enough evidence to prossicute my uncle said he will.
I am completely crushed. NOT because I probably won't see her rings but because her last wishes were not carried out. Also, the idea of those bitches having her rings and possibly pawning them breaks my heart to pieces not to mention knowing they struck when my grammie couldnt defend herself.
It just makes me so horribly angry...
