Have you ever stared in the mirror so long that everything became a blur and all you could make out were the fuzzy shapes of the person you know you were meant to be? It’s like being under water and looking up through the haze to the surface. You see someone standing there but you cannot make out who they are. It’s like waves of clarity verses the foggy struggle. I see you…but you don’t see me…and visa versa.
Sometimes…I don’t want to fight and other times that’s all I wish to do. I grow tired and frail. I grow strong and invincible. I am a walking contradiction from day to day but one thing I know to be true of myself is that I harbor so much I wish to give to this world. If I don’t move on I will never get that chance.
I am having a low today needless to say but I am reminding myself not to fight it. Just float. The more I fight it the worst it seems. So I am not going to fight the tide. Just float for today, rest, and tomorrow I will start all over again.
