"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes."– Marcel Proust

The other night I made a discovery that turned into me getting hurt…again. I really don’t feel like going into detail but let’s just say it was someone very close to me doing something they said they would never do again.  After the usual big huge long conversation and me ever so tempted to go back to my old ways to make crap easier for those around me it ended up with me staying, working at it, and pushing for me to get better.

The next day after all that Husband and I went to the Ft. Worth Japanese Gardens. I hadn’t been there (or anywhere for that matter) in a very long time! As always it was so gorgeous! It was raining as we were heading into Ft. Worth though it was raining in patches here and there. I so did not let that ruin my parade. We got there as the doors were opening. The sky was a little dark and over cast but it made it all so beautiful. There is a winding small lake that runs through the entire gardens filled with Koi fish that you can feed. As the day went on the rain caught in the trees would sprinkle down onto the water causing beautiful ripples. I got a whole bunch of pictures. I am hoping to post them soon! (perhaps as a movie) Also, we went to the gift shop and I got this cute little Japanese figurine of a cat with symbols on it and a stone the color of aquamarine (my birthstone) that says “joy” on it (my middle name). After the wonderful trip to the Japanese Gardens Husband and I went out to lunch. We had a really nice time!  I wasn’t nervous or anxious at any moment!!! Huge improvement!

The day after the Japanese Gardens the hurt set in from the crap I was dealing with earlier. Like everyone else I have to go through my process but usually it ends in being mad…real mad…and then after ripping into them and letting them know how I feel I am always better. So, yesterday I spent feeling pretty hurt, crying, and generally just trying to work things out in my head.  Also, the outfits I ordered for my Blythe dolls came in so that was a nice surprise to break up the day.

During all that Husband joined DS finally! I told him he needs to get support because basically he is in this with me. He needs support from other spouses or even other people to help him like you all have helped me. You should stop by and check him out: Bear41 is his user name.  I believe he posted a blog about himself, about us and why he joined the site. I read it and it made me teary eyed. I knew how he felt, he told me how he felt, it registered but to see it in print for all to see made it even more real. He said writing it was very therapeutic so I hope he keeps up his blog.

Today Husband and I got up at the same time. We did our usual sitting out on the porch while he enjoys his coffee and we talked before we headed off to pick up a few things at the store. We stopped by Target and they had all the pretty new school supplies out. I came across this cute lunch bag that is pink and has two cute cherries on it. It says “cherry cute” on the back. I just had to have it! I am using it to keep all my Blythe doll supplies in: clothes and the like. I can keep it out and keep the girls posed by it and it looks like a cute back drop for them. LOL

I have to do my paper today and start on Husbands movie he needs for the kids. I do a movie every year to promote what he does in the class room. My one movie last year “through the eyes of an engineer” inspired a lot of kids. One kid on his note book quoted me from the movie: “it all starts with an idea…” When husband told me that I was so happy all that hard work had paid off. So, this year I am excited. Husband even bought me an external hard drive to put all the video and pics on it so all that wouldn’t be on my normal hard drive. Cool huh?

Hmmm...Aunt Dee said she would call tomorrow. I wonder if she will.

Well anyways….

I hope everyone is well!

REA!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaagh! I saw those same bags and DID NOT get any for Carol Lee! Oh, you're a better Blythe mommy! I DID, however, get a black Hello Kitty pencil case and Hello Kitty pens. So, it wasn't a wash, lol. Getting the outfits must have been a blast.

However, I am sorry about the situation that hurt you. Betrayals of any type, whether intentional or not, are particularly painful. I hope your heart heals quickly.

Congrats on getting hubby to join the party. I think he will find it helpful as we all have.

    Thanks for sharing, Doll.

    Love,
    Ren
