Hello Everyone!

Husband has been out of town for a week and just arrived back today. During the week I spent in quiet reflection and organization. I had little to do with school work but as stated before that is ok because I am about two weeks ahead. Time off was much needed from studies and focus on my inner self was a blessing.

During that time I reassessed a lot of my goals. Basically I “checked in” with myself to be sure all was on track with my recovery from anxiety and panic. I think I am doing very well and I went over my special journal in review where I log my progress.  I would say I am not doing too badly.

My new washer and dryer finally arrived yesterday. That was a blessing considering I had been without a washer and dryer since about last Saturday. Perfect timing because I was running out of clothes! I was starting to “college it”. Oh, you know that what means…fabreeze everything! 

All this week I had packages delivered to my door of the stuff I ordered the week before. It felt like Christmas! Of course just like Christmas I sat on the floor opening packages even though I knew what was inside just the way a kid would. Sometimes you just have to take it back to the basics! lol! I ordered a lot of organizational stuff. Stuff to get the laundry room and kitchen together. Not to mention I slipped in a new tea for one pot I have been eyeing for about a year. Yeah, I even drink hot tea in the summer…well and I always drinked iced tea as well…and no not always black tea…but herbals and green tea. Yum!

Wow, rambled….~composes herself~ moving on….

I joked with Husband before he left that there was no way he could out do the last gift he got me when he went out of town. The last one was a pretty infusing tea cup, loose leaf spiced chi tea, moose munch, biscotti, and butter cookies all wrapped in a beautiful basket that had a lining in it that was embroidered with butterflies. When he handed it to me I just stood there in awe- I am a tea freak for those who don’t know.(heh)  Well, since then he and I both joked that he has a huge order to fill. Really it was all a joke as I do not expect him to get me gifts when he goes out of town.

I must say, however, when he got home from this trip he had totally out done himself! I wasn’t expecting a thing but he told me about the many shops that where about. He told me he ended up in a little shop that imports Russian stuff. I am by fair not Russian (Irish, Scottish, German, Dutch, and Native American,- a mutt if you will) but who cannot resist pretty shiny things? Well, Husband got me the prettiest delicate purple peacock perfume bottle that is supposed to be “one of many” graduation gifts. He also got me a gorgeous green and gold egg ring music box for my wedding ring. Of course it is supposed to mimic the famous Russian Fabriche Eggs.  For me I am not a big fan of the color green, however, he got it because he said it matches my eyes and because to him the songs tune (whatever the song is as I cannot pin point it) reminded him of me. That makes it all so special and really I love it!

So, now I have to think of something clever to make him or get him…~ponders~
