Journal Entry for April 29, 2008 Mood
Tuesday, April 29, 2008 | A General Update story

"Our real blessings often appear to us in the shape of pains, losses and disappointments, but let us have patience and we soon shall see them in their proper figures."
– Joseph Addison

I am doing ok though I am feeling “eh” is the best way to explain it. Not good but not bad and I could teeter at any minute and fall into an extreme. Alas I am just trying to take a moment of quiet time to sort things out so it all doesn’t go bad.

I have got to the halfway mark in my anxiety workbook. It seems to be working wonders. I am getting the tools I need to better understand how to heal myself and it is wonderful. Husband is also reading it as well so he can better understand what I am going through. Steady but sure I know I will recover.

I have started a new group here on DS called “Holistic Healing” you should check it out. It’s just a place to add your advice, creativity etc as to how you take care of yourself and keep yourself centered as well as a place to learn about taking care of yourself as a whole. From eating healthy to understanding how your body works or connecting mind, body and spirit into your journey of healing.  Everyone is welcome and I encourage you all to contribute as what you have to say is very important to me as well as the group.

My whole purpose to starting the group is I am studying to be a Master Herbalist and I noticed I have so much knowledge to give in that field as well as I feel that all of you have so much to give so perhaps we can learn from one another! I have a lot of great ideas on my end as to how to contribute and look forward to how this all pans out.

I hope all of you are well.

~Bright Blessings~

Hi Rea, Eh huh? I know that teetering feeling - I describe it as a narrow balance beam and there are times when the slightest thing can send me reeling. I guess it's a question of doing what we can to maintain focus and balance. I went back on that med and am going to wean myself the right way. I'm still dizzy, lightheaded and a bit nauseus. Went to my rheumatologist today and my blood pressure was up - maybe that's contributing. I'm trying to take it easy and take a little better care of myself. I have found that dandelion tea is very soothing to the disgestive tract (nausea) - have to get some. I like the idea of your holistic group - there's lots of avenues to explore. Keep fighting the good fight - I respect and admire your efforts. Love and blessings, Odyssey

Congrats on starting the group! It is so powerful to be able to share one's gift with others. It becomes very speacial when one's shares in another's healing.

Wow, half way through? I abandoned mine. Maybe I need to take another look. Thanks for the inspiration!
