Close Amputees
In May of 1984 I was the victim of a hit and run accident. I was on my motorcycle and was hit by a car. I was in the hospital from May of ’84 til March of ’85. My left leg was amputated above the knee, broken pelvis in 2 places, broken right ankle, crushed right wrist, all ligaments torn up in right knee and tore up my face. I had 13 major surgeries in about a 1 year period of time from 1984 to 1985.
