Just a thought...i wish all, inc myself ,would give their DS Information to a trusted loved one, in the event of an ''emergency'' and we were unable to tell our friends of our ''disappearance'' from the site they could leave even one message to put the word out, it hurts and concerns me when I get close to someone, and then they are ''gone''  I do not want to wonder for my lifetime what happened?was there anything I could do to Help? thanx for listening, Leanne

If I had some one here I trusted that much I would do it but to be very honest I don't. Hope you are well.

Not a bad idea...when I was in the ICU the last time I had my daughter call Sharon and Jenny...they told the world and the phone at the hospital rang pretty constantly which made me feel good and pissed off the nursing staff...a double winner!!!

YOu have good ideas...btw, do you have a listing on your cellphone ICE [In Case of Emergency]? There are those of us who are EMS types who depend on that information to make sure we don't screw you up when you can't speak for yourself...also, EVERYONE should carry a medication and allergy list along with a brief description of your medical conditions folded neatly behind you Drivers license! Doesn't sound like much, but when I am giving you meds at the the scene; it really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know what you are taking and are allergic to BEFORE I push the plunger!!!! None of us really enjoy watching a patient go from cherry red to bright blue as the medications hit their bloodstreams.

    love ya,

great Idea! they should make inserts like that to give you when u get/renew your lic, maybe they dont want u to make it..hence the ''donor area''which is great but imo to general. I know when my mom passed away and my dad, after that lived alone..i had to remind him (as I have others since) do not list your own phone as an emergency contact....you live alone and you r not there:S as to not trusting anyone enuff, i can totaly appreciate that, i am just being self serving cause i hate worrying/not knowing, in the future mabr there will be a red button to push if one is no longer on earth..immediately contacting all family, friends etc..just kidding that would be tragic if pressed by asccident, ok i am rambling, bye all ty 4 your comments:)

I have thought that. I have a friend on here that has been missing since October, and all I think is the worst..broke my heart when a friend on here did pass. Her children still write once and awhile on her journal. I keep reading......I will leave mine with my brother probably. Or in a journal since i know it will be read by someone.
