Personally only 2, but i've been an aunty to so many, between all my sisters and their kids and then my buddies kid's, they all end up at my place for one reason or another. Ha i think its high school. We send our darling little angels to high school and in a very short time they send home some one we never met before. I'm still not sure what is worse tho, teen boys or girls. I've had may share of both, either way its very trying on the nerves and you have to just try to remember when you were their age and what you felt so you can understand what they are going thru. Teens need their space and need to find themselves, but not at our expense. I well come them and love them like my own but I have very strick rules and anyone who doesn't want to follow them has to go. Its cold but its tuff love and it works.

All teens go thru hell, and put parents (step parents included), their not alot of fun to be around. If you need to talk feel free to drop a line, I've been in your shoes a couple of times. Moe

Close Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
I am the step-father of a 16 year old boy. I have raised him since he was 6 years old. I am the only dad that he has ever known, as his biological father disappeared when he was 2 years old. We have enjoyed a very good relationship up until 2 years ago. The last 2 years have been hell, characterized by name calling, stealing, involvement with the law, skipping school, drug use. I recently sent him an e-mail, signed dad, and he replied that I am not his dad since we are not related. I am very sad
